West Bolton SNAP Home Retrofit Program

West Bolton Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan (SNAP) developed collaboratively by the Town of Caledon, Toronto and Regional Conservation Authority (TRCA), the Region of Peel and local residents are partnering to make the West Bolton neighbourhood greener, healthier and more vibrant.

The partners invite you to take advantage of two free initiatives launching this summer to help you make your home and yard more energy and water efficient (i.e. incentives for energy efficient furnaces, eco-landscaping, rain barrels and draft proofing) and contribute to the overall resilience and well-being of the West Bolton neighnbourhood.

This program is designed to save you money on home energy and water by providing a personalized retrofit program and incentive recommendations to your home and budget. This program includes:  

  • FREE face-to-face meetings or online service with two TRCA home advisors;
  • Learn which retrofits are best for your home and garden;
  • FREE Energy Conservation Kits and LED light bulbs;
  • Opportunity to qualify for a FREE Energy Audit ($600 value);
  • Opportunity to be selected as the West Bolton demonstration home and receive a contribution of up to $5000 in FREE indoor and outdoor retrofits.

Three ways to participate:

  1. At your home
  • 2 TRCA home advisors will come to your home for a 30-minute consultation

   2.  At your local library

  • Complete an online questionnaire and receive a response from TRCA home advisors within two business days
