Donations

Thank you for considering a donation to Caledon Public Library. Donations are permanent and freely given without conditions attached. They will be used or disposed of as Caledon Public Library deems appropriate. They will either be added to the collection or given to Friends of Caledon Public Library to sell, with generated revenue returning to the library for future purchases.

Caledon Public Library will gladly accept the following items in good condition:

  • paperbacks and hardcovers no more than 5 years old
  • DVDs, talking books

We will NOT accept:

  • damaged items (stained, water-damaged, defaced, mildewed, a refuge for creatures of any kind or otherwise unsuitable)
  • textbooks, magazines

Tax receipts will not be issued for donated materials. Large donations must be boxed.
