Build your own game or animation!

Welcome to module 3 of the STEM Village Club and Contest. It is time to use all the skills you have learned to create a simple SCRATCH animation or game. Using your knowledge of block coding you will create a short animation or game. Keep your ideas small and simple. You will only have 3 weeks to complete your animation or game. Remember, the goal is to work on problem solving skills… you won’t get it right the first time, so don’t worry… keep trying. You can get your game/animation to do anything you want it do … you have the power! Please submit your final entries by Saturday September 8thto be included in the Ozobot prize draw.

Start date: Saturday August 11

  • Create a Scratch Accountusing a valid email address.
  • Practice using SCRATCH with the online tutorial.
  • Create a simple SCRATCH animation or game using the skills that you have learned.
  • What is the name of your game/animation?
  • What is the purpose of your game/animation? Will you collect points or is the game timed?
  • How will your game work?
  • What are the rules?
  • Share your completed animation with the library
