Municipal elections shape the future of our community, and Caledon Public Library (CPL) is committed to helping residents make informed decisions.
We have created this non-partisan portal to reliable election information, resources, and learning opportunities to help you better understand the municipal election process and vote with confidence.
Get Prepared, Get Informed
The municipal election is on Monday, October 26, 2026. Make sure you are ready and in the know.
Make sure you are on the voters list and know where to cast your ballot.
- The Town of Caledon’s Elections webpage is the best place to find information about how to vote, election dates, and other information.
- Stop by any library branch between September 1 – October 23 to make sure you are on the voters’ list.
Confirm your ward.
- The Town of Caledon Ward Boundaries Map is a handy application that allows you to search your address and visualize Caledon’s six wards.
Consider your options.
- Meet the candidates. Caledon Public Library has invited all 2026 Municipal Election Candidates to complete a questionnaire and have posted their responses so that you can learn where they stand on the issues that matter to you.
- Plan to attend an all-candidates meeting. The Caledon Chamber of Commerce, Metamorphosis Network and Caledon Public Library recognize the importance of an informed electorate and have partnered to host the following all-candidates meetings:
- Mayoral Candidates: Thursday, September 24, 7pm at the Caledon East Community Centre Banquet Hall
- Local & Regional Candidates – Wards 4, 5 & 6: Thursday, October 1, 7pm at the Albion Bolton Branch
- Local & Regional Candidates – Wards 1, 2 & 3: Monday, October 5, 7pm at the Margaret Dunn Valleywood Branch and Collaboration Studio

- Are there issues or questions that you would like addressed? Submit your suggested questions to be answered at one or all of the all-candidates meetings. Make sure to share your question by September 20th.
