__________________________________________________________________________________
Rosey Kaur, English Public: One challenge that deserves greater attention is ensuring our schools keep pace with Caledon’s rapid growth. As our communities expand, we must plan ahead for school capacity, resources, transportation and programming so students are not left waiting for solutions. I will advocate for Caledon’s needs at the board level, listen closely to families and school communities, and work collaboratively with the Board, Province and Town. Growth should never come at the expense of a student’s opportunity to learn and thrive.

7. How will residents know whether you have been successful at the end of your four-year term?
Paula Dametto-Giovannozzi, English Separate:
__________________________________________________________________________________
Rosey Kaur, English Public: At the end of four years, I want residents to measure my success by the results they can see and the relationships we have built. Have families felt heard? Have I been accessible and transparent? Have Caledon’s needs been strongly represented at the board table? Have we made progress in student achievement, well-being, inclusion and community engagement? I will provide regular updates throughout my term so residents do not have to wait four years to hold me accountable. Success will mean leaving our school communities stronger than when I started.

__________________________________________________________________________________

For over 20 years, I have worked directly with children and families, listening, teaching and advocating for their success. My priorities are student achievement, well-being, inclusion and meaningful community engagement. If elected, I will be visible, accessible and willing to listen. I will bring Caledon’s voice to the board table with one guiding principle: every decision should help our students learn, feel supported and succeed.
