Computers & printing
CPL is happy to offer:
- Free WiFi that can be accessed in any of our seven branches with your laptop or WiFi-enabled device
- Computers with internet access and basic software programs, available on a first-come, first-served basis. You can also check out a Chromebook for in-library use.
- Hotspots – check out our Library of Things
- An accessible work station (please see Accessibility @ CPL for additional information)
- Printing, copying, faxing and scanning – Faxing and scanning are free; copying fees are the same as the printing fees mentioned below. (Cash or Debit Only)
PLEASE NOTE: Scanning at the Caledon East branch is currently unavailable.
Print from Anywhere Service
Submit a print request from anywhere you have an internet connection.
Print from Your Own Device (or library Chromebook)
- Visit https://cpl.social/printfromanywhere
- Select the CPL branch* where you would like to pick up your print job and whether you want it B & W or colour, and enter your email address
- Browse your computer/device to find and select the file you wish to print**
- Click the green print icon. You will see the status of your print job and a reference number
Visit the selected branch to make payment and have your print job released.
Printing cost: $0.25 for B&W and $0.50 for Colour

*Currently this service is only offered at the Albion Bolton, Southfields Village and the Alton branches
**Limited to letter size (8 ½” x 11”) single-sided
NOTE: Your print job will be listed under the email address you provided. Jobs will be held for 72 hours.

Print from Library Desktop Computer
- Browse library computer to find and select the file you wish to print
- Select print
- Select print details (B & W or colour, size etc)
- Click on red GoPrint icon on the bottom left corner
- Select item to print from list
- Enter email address
You will need to make payment to have your print job released.
Printing cost: $0.25 for B&W and $0.50 for Colour

NOTE: Your print job will be listed under the email address you provided. Print jobs from library desktop computers will be held for 2 hours.
